Paralegal Responsibilities:

- Proactively managing employment-related lawsuits, charges, and claims.
- Coordinating with in-house and outside counsel and conducting initial fact gathering.
- Implementing and maintaining litigation holds.
- Identifying and gathering responsive documents and information.
- Scheduling and participating in witness interviews.
- Reviewing discovery, pleadings, and other case documentation.
- Analyzing and responding to employment-related third-party subpoenas and requests for records.
- Supporting cross-functional projects as an employment law/compliance resource.
- Supporting e-discovery processes and systems.
- Finding ways to improve processes within the employment law team.

Experience Required:

- 2-4 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in labor and employment law.
- 2-year college degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience.
- E-discovery certification from an accredited agency is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems (Workday).
- Knowledge of legal matter and document management systems.
- Ability to effectively interface with various groups within the legal department and across the company.
- Knowledge and experience with e-discovery processes.
- Strong writing skills and ability to efficiently draft requests for information.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively despite ambiguity and rapid change.
- Creativity and curiosity.
