Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file patent and design applications and prosecution documents through the USPTO electronic filing systems.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, foreign agents, and other parties to gather and organize information.
- Manage a docket and track deadlines.
- Maintain current knowledge of . and PCT rules and procedures.
- Assist with client transfers and portfolio management.

Qualifications:

- Five or more years of experience as a patent prosecution secretary or paralegal.
- Knowledge of . and PCT patent prosecution processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with international procedures and managing foreign deadlines.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and other professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Education and Experience:

- Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.

Compensation Information:

- San Francisco Bay Area: $72,380 - $130,290 annually
- Los Angeles: $66,040 - $118,880 annually
- San Diego: $65,200 - $117,370 annually
- Washington State: $59,820 - $107,680 annually
