Legal Assistant - Litigation Defense Team Law Firm - Indianapolis, IN The Law Firm of Schultz & Pogue is seeking a talented and experienced Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team in our downtown Indianapolis office. We specialize in litigation defense, with a focus on general liability and medical malpractice cases. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical malpractice defense team and ensuring the success of our cases. Key Responsibilities: - Managing electronic and paper files, including client documents, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case documents - Maintaining dockets and tracking calendar dates and deadlines - Assisting with electronic case filing in state and federal courts - Drafting appearances, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents - Assisting with trial, hearing, and deposition preparation This is a full-time, on-site position with flexible hours from Monday to Friday.
