The ideal candidate will possess 3-7 years of experience in labor and employment law, with the ability to work independently and take on existing client files immediately. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including but not limited to discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.
  • Manage a caseload of existing client files and take on new cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memos on labor and employment law issues.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm on complex cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active State of Illinois Law license, in good standing.
  • 3-7 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active State of Illinois Law license.
