Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join their team in the New York office. This is a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be a part of a thriving practice and work with influential corporations and financial institutions in the nation's most populous city.

A Day in the Life
As a global center for commerce, New York City offers a dynamic environment for attorneys to serve corporate clients with their financial services needs. The New York office is located in the heart of one of the world's major financial centers, just a few blocks from Grand Central and close to many of the city's vibrant arts, fashion, and entertainment venues.

The attorneys in the New York office practice within the Corporate Group's various areas such as capital markets, private equity, securities, real estate, lending, project finance, investment management, energy, mergers and acquisitions, banking, and general corporate matters. They also handle general litigation, white collar defense & government investigations, and labor and employment cases.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have two to four years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting, with a strong preference for venture capital experience. They should also have knowledge in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills are required, as well as academic excellence. Candidates must be a member of the New York bar.
