A law firm is seeking a Labor And Employment Associate Attorney for its New Haven, CT location with the following responsibilities:

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and mediation.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Assist with the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
• Experience in higher education law is highly desirable.
• Superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and develop service strategies.
• Licensed to practice law in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York State Bar.
