Job Description:

Position: Associate Attorney (2-5 years of experience)
Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000 (depending on experience)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Bar Admission: California

As an Associate Attorney at Olivier & Schreiber LLP, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the firm’s partners on a variety of cases. This includes employment, wage and hour, consumer rights, and other civil rights cases in state and federal courts, as well as private arbitration. You will have the chance to work on both individual plaintiff cases and class actions, representing a diverse range of clients from low-wage workers to corporate executives.

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the firm’s partners on all aspects of the litigation process
- Appearing in court and before arbitrators
- Taking depositions
- Drafting pleadings
- Conducting legal research on complex issues
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

Required:
- At least two years of litigation experience (preference given to employment, consumer, civil rights, and class action experience)
- California Bar admission
- Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Common sense and sound judgment
- Ability to take the work seriously, but not yourself

Preferred:
- Private law firm experience
- Spanish speaking
