Duties:
- Offer legal and tax support on estate planning and estate administration matters.
- Research Federal and New York State tax issues as they pertain to estates.
- Prepare court documents related to estate administration.
- Provide support for estate litigation, assisting in the preparation and management of cases.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the New York State Bar.
- 0-2 years of experience in Trusts and Estates Administration, or a demonstrated interest in this field.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts straightforwardly.
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently when necessary.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
