Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, an AmLaw 200 law firm, is looking for a talented and self-motivated associate to join their Wealth Strategies team in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in estate planning, probate administration and trust administration, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and a Florida bar license. An . in taxation or estate planning is strongly preferred but not required. Experience with federal estate tax returns (Form 706) and federal gift tax returns (Form 709) is a plus.

## Education, Experience and Skills Required

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Florida bar license
- . in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred, but not essential
- 2+ years’ estate planning law practice experience
- Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
- Superior organizational skills
- Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines

## Physical Requirements

- Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time
