FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Employment Law with at least 6 years of experience to join their team in Washington, . This position will partner with the Associate General Counsel and work closely with human resources, employee benefits, and other business teams to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. The successful candidate will have a JD degree, be admitted and in good standing in at least one . state, and have the ability to travel as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal advice and counsel on a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including hiring, compensation, employee relations, background checks, discipline and termination, diversity and inclusion, accommodations, leaves of absence, and employee benefits. • Conduct research to provide relevant advice and stay updated on legislation, regulations, and emerging trends in labor and employment law. • Collaborate with business teams to identify and implement recommended policies and practices in a timely manner. • Draft, review, and revise agreements, policies, and processes related to human resources, employee benefits, and code of conduct matters. • Support corporate and employee relations investigations. • Advise senior executives and influence decision making. Qualifications: • JD degree and at least 6 years of relevant post-graduate professional employment law experience. • Admitted, active, and in good standing in at least one . state. • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed. • Experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and pragmatic advice. • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively with other members of the legal department.
