Corporate M&A Associate Job Description:

- Seeking a Corporate M&A Associate with 5+ years of experience
- Significant experience in M&A, with additional experience in venture capital and general corporate transactional representations preferred
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and drafting skills required
- Must be team-oriented and capable of taking on significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents, leading complex diligence, and managing client interactions and work product
- Willing to work the hours expected of a fast-paced, busy practice
- Industry experience in energy and/or renewable energy and private equity transactions is a plus

- Draft primary deal documents, including merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements
- Lead complex diligence and deal management, including managing junior associates and internal specialist teams
- Interact with clients and produce high-quality work product
- Work closely with team members and take on significant responsibility in a fast-paced, busy practice
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in corporate M&A, with additional experience in venture capital and general corporate transactional representations preferred
