A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its expanding medical malpractice, transportation, construction defect, and general liability litigation groups in Las Vegas. The Associate Attorney will work closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, emphasizing strategic thinking to meet client objectives. Strong research and writing skills are essential. Experience in insurance defense litigation and general familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines are preferred. The candidate must be licensed in Nevada and have 3-5 years of experience.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation.
  • Conduct rapid response investigations following catastrophic losses.
  • Evaluate cases and prepare reports.
  • Handle discovery and depositions.
  • Assist in trial preparation and presentation.
  • Emphasize strategic thinking to meet client objectives.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with carrier billing and reporting guidelines.

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
  • 3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice, transportation, construction defect, or general liability litigation.
  • Experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.
  • Familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
