- Possess 2-5 years of tax controversy experience
- Experience with tax controversy disputes, including audits, appeals, and litigation
- Familiarity with federal income tax issues, corporate and partnership experience a plus
- Previous experience with law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division) preferred
- Additional qualifications such as a degree in accounting, CPA license, or . in Tax helpful but not required
- Must have strong academic and employment credentials
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Admission to practice in at least one state required, Texas a plus
