A law firm located in San Francisco is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with a focus on employment litigation. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work. Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in California or currently eligible for licensure.

 

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court hearings and mediations.
  • Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including compliance with state and federal laws, employee relations, and workplace policies.
  • Assist clients in traditional labor matters, such as collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and achieve client objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work.
  • Interest in employment litigation.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in California or currently eligible for licensure.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
