RSM is seeking a Director of AML Regulatory Compliance to join our Risk Consulting team and lead our regulatory compliance practice focused within the financial services industry. This is a full-time position with opportunities to work in New York, Chicago, Washington DC Metro, Philadelphia, or Dallas. As a Director, you will be responsible for driving the client and talent experience within our Regulatory Compliance Risk Consulting team and collaborating with our national financial services industry and sector leaders to provide strategic thought leadership. This role will require a strong understanding of CFPB and FFIEC guidance, as well as experience in managing regulatory compliance for large, complex clients. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to develop and execute a strategic vision in partnership with industry and service line leaders. Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the client and talent experience within the Regulatory Compliance Risk Consulting team
- Collaborate with national financial services industry and sector leaders to provide strategic thought leadership
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in regulatory compliance, with a focus on CFPB and FFIEC guidance
- Leverage cross-functional teams to assess and communicate regulatory, technology, and risk considerations
- Develop innovative solutions and approaches to serve clients based on evolving technological tools and trends
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory compliance and automation technology firms
- Enhance the firm's capability to respond to high-profile client needs in compliance remediation and program transformation
- Effectively manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
- Leverage personal network and brand to drive growth and identify new opportunities
- Oversee a diverse book of business and maintain responsibility for effective delivery and engagement risk
- Lead multiple high-profile client relationships and provide leadership on proposal opportunities and internal initiatives
- Recruit and retain future leaders within the firm, advancing their professional aspirations and skills
- Model the core values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and stewardship in all interactions with clients and team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Law
- 15+ years of experience with federal regulatory compliance laws and regulations in a financial institution, specialty finance, financial services, regulatory agency, or consulting capacity
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Master's degree in business, law, or equivalent consulting industry experience preferred
- Practice development and management, marketing, and thought leadership experience preferred
- Professional certification such as CRCM or CAMS preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
