Elder Law Medicaid Paralegal / Legal Assistant:

Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of Medicaid cases
- Communicate with clients, social workers, hospitals, and nursing homes to gather information
- Organize and maintain case files using document management systems
- Prepare and submit Medicaid applications and supplementary documentation
- Assist with asset transfers to meet Medicaid eligibility criteria
- Track applications and provide status updates to clients
- Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and the Department of Social Services
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience as a Medicaid Paralegal
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with document management systems and legal procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work with all levels of professionals
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
