Law Firm Seeking Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal for Remote Position

This is a virtual role, but candidates must reside in the Inland Northwest area for occasional in-office and team meetings. Job Title: Civil Litigation Paralegal (3+ years) - Remote

Location: Inland Northwest Offices - (Spokane, WA /Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Areas)

Salary: $55,000 to $80,000 (depending upon skills and experience)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position will have three or more years of experience handling civil litigation and general liability matters. While experience in construction law and related project record keeping is a plus, it is not mandatory. As a virtual paralegal, you will be responsible for organizing files, managing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. You will also work closely with outside counsel and vendors, and be involved in privilege and substantive document review and production.

Responsibilities:

- Organize files from inception through discovery and trial or arbitration
- Work with outside ESI vendors and cloud-based ESI hosting platforms
- Communicate with outside counsel and vendors
- Conduct privilege and substantive document review and production
- Prepare exhibits for motions practice and trials
- Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director
- Attend occasional in-office and team meetings as needed for clientele

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- ABA approved paralegal certificate
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director
