Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Paralegal in Mount Pleasant, SC

The law firm of Hall Booth Smith, PC is currently seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team in Mount Pleasant, SC. With six regional offices throughout Georgia and additional locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee, HBS is a full-service firm that provides knowledgeable and proactive legal counsel to a diverse range of clients.

We are looking for a paralegal with at least 3 years of complex insurance defense litigation experience and a strong understanding of both Federal and State Rules. Medical Malpractice defense experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of our team, you will assist attorneys with complex state and federal cases from initial pleadings through trial. This will include conducting initial case assessments, drafting pleadings and discovery requests, interpreting and summarizing medical records, and communicating with experts, insurance adjusters, witnesses, clients, and opposing counsel. In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist with jury selection, witness preparation, and trial preparation.
