The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and be licensed to practice in both Michigan and Illinois.

Duties

  • Represent clients in labor and employment-related litigation and disputes

  • Provide legal counsel on compliance with employment laws and regulations

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment matters

  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and employment laws

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in labor and employment law

  • Must be barred in both Michigan and Illinois

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and advocacy abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively

  • Experience handling civil litigation matters

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in Michigan and Illinois
