## Job Description

At Law Firm, Legal Assistants are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

* Performing legal and social science research, drafting research memoranda, preparing court documents and correspondence, and proofreading and checking citations for complex legal documents.
* Coordinating meetings and travel, filing and maintaining records, scanning, copying, and preparing expense reports.
* Reading, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing legal and social science documents, including case law and statutes.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proven research abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

## Location

This position is available in Portland, ME; Augusta, ME; Boston, MA; and Concord, NH.

## Salary
