Duties:
- Conduct thorough prior art searches to assess patentability and freedom to operate.
- Analyze patents and scientific literature to assist with patent preparation and prosecution.
- Prepare and file patent applications with the . Patent and Trademark Office.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement patent strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the biological or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Review patent claims, technical documents, and scientific research.
- Stay updated on patent law developments and advances in relevant scientific fields.
Requirements:
- Registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office.
- . or . in cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, virology, or a related technical field; or chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacy, or an equivalent discipline.
- A technical background in biological or pharmaceutical sciences is preferred.
