This is a part-time position of up to 30 hours per week. ### Job Responsibilities - Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence - Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations - Establish, build, and maintain relationships with assigned clients - Participate in marketing and business development opportunities - Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere - Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment ### Qualifications - Minimum five years of relevant experience - Licensed and in good standing in Iowa - Understanding of current court-related procedures - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Attention to detail - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational and time management skills - Collaborative and committed to working as part of a team Candidates should also have the drive and experience to grow our Workers Compensation practice by identifying and connecting with prospective new clients. A strong academic background, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage workload are highly desirable. Relocation candidates are welcome to apply – must be eligible for waiver into Iowa or willing to sit for the next bar exam. Remote flexibility will be considered on a case-by-case basis. ### Compensation Law Firm offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including participation in a 401K and Profit Sharing Plan.
