Law Firm is Seeking an Associate - Investment Funds Law Firm is seeking an associate to join the Investment Funds practice group in our New York, Washington, ., Boston, or Chicago offices. The associate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity fund formation and related fund operational matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to work with a top-tier law firm and gain experience in fund formation, operations, and compliance. Job Description The associate will join the Investment Funds practice group and be responsible for a variety of matters related to private equity fund formation and related fund operational matters. The associate will: • Provide advice and counsel to fund sponsors on the structuring, formation, and fundraising of private investment funds across a broad spectrum of asset classes • Draft and negotiate fund formation documents, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, and related documents • Advise fund sponsors on operational matters, including subscription documents, fund operational agreements, and other related matters • Assist in the review and analysis of regulatory and compliance matters • Provide advice and counsel on sponsor internal arrangements • Assist in the negotiation of fund formation documents and other related matters Qualifications The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity fund formation and related fund operational matters. The candidate must have: • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • Membership in good standing of a state bar • Excellent academic credentials • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively • A strong commitment to client service Salary and Benefits Law Firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
