# ECVC Associate Attorney
Law Firm is looking for an experienced Emerging Company and Venture Capital Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* A minimum of ten venture financings using NVCA documents.
* Experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings.
* Experience with domestic M&A transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors.
* Proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
* Experience working in a premier corporate practice.
* Involvement with, or an affinity for, technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses.
* Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
* Commitment to delivering excellent client service.
* Entrepreneurial, innovative and forward thinking.
* Excellent business and legal problem solving skills and judgement.
* A strong work ethic, team player attitude and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.

## Salaries

Salary ranges are dependent on the city and state of the position and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

* San Diego, CA annual salary range: $250,000 to $370,000
* San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $250,000 to $370,000
