A well-established law firm in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Associate Attorney. This role demands a skilled professional with a solid foundation in handling complex business immigration matters, including various visa categories and employment-based petitions. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload while demonstrating strong client communication, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to case management and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of business immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, and EB-1 petitions.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and draft high-level immigration petitions, ensuring they align with clients' needs and comply with immigration regulations.
  • Advise clients strategically on immigration options and procedural matters, providing clear guidance throughout the process.
  • Prepare clients for consular processing and immigration interviews, ensuring readiness for all stages of the immigration journey.
  • Supervise and provide mentorship to junior associates, paralegals, and legal assistants, fostering a collaborative and educational team environment.
  • Engage in client development initiatives, contribute to business growth, and actively participate in marketing and networking efforts.
  • Effectively manage a high-volume caseload, demonstrating independence and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for admission through reciprocity.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business immigration law, with a proven record of handling various visa petitions and related matters.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
  • Organizational prowess with a keen ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Client-focused attitude, with an emphasis on providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Previous experience with Fortune 100 companies on complex immigration matters is highly desirable.
  • Supervisory experience with junior attorneys and paralegals is a plus.
  • Proficient in using immigration management software and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work within a team-based structure, collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and an adaptable approach to evolving legal challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and developments in business immigration law.
