- Responsible for providing legal marketing leadership for PayPal and Venmo products and expertise to branding and non-platform marketing teams

- Lead legal support for sweepstakes, co-venturer initiatives, branding initiatives, marketing trademark inquiries, and other marketing related initiatives
- Review marketing collateral and provide strategic guidance for Closed End lending products across all communication channels
- Engage and collaborate with outside counsel, client attorney, and subject matter experts on complex issues
- Maintain expertise on PayPal and Venmo’s loyalty programs, promotions, benefits, and acquisition channels
- Provide legal marketing expertise to cross-functional teams for client marketing initiatives
- Advise client teams on advertising and related credit card and regulatory laws
- Stay up-to-date with industry and law developments to formulate business strategies
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure understanding of legal requirements and changes in law
- Respond to marketing compliance questions, remediations, and regulatory examinations
- Develop, review, and revise marketing related procedures and CTCs as needed
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate (JD) with minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience
- Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to marketing and financial services
- Ability to manage complex initiatives and projects in a matrix environment
- Strong judgment and ability to balance business and legal considerations
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $210,000 USD annually with potential for annual bonus based on performance
- Eligible for salary adjustments based on market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle
- Must be 18 years or older and have high school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to undergo drug test, background investigation, and fingerprinting
- Must satisfy requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service before eligible to post for other roles
- Internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have manager approval to post for other roles
