Job Overview

A distinguished law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Consumer Financial Services & Technology Litigation team. This role involves handling complex commercial litigation matters related to financial institutions, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, courtroom experience, and a deep understanding of consumer financial services law.

Duties

  • Represent clients in federal and state court litigation related to consumer financial services, technology, and data privacy.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
  • Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop case strategies, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients in hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Stay current with evolving laws and regulations in consumer finance, data security, and technology.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably within consumer financial services or technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal research, writing, and case analysis.
  • Experience representing clients in federal and state courts.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
