As a Patent Paralegal II, you will support 2-3 patent attorneys and/or agents with their prosecution dockets. This includes reviewing and uploading daily correspondence, managing file histories, conducting docket meetings, and preparing and finalizing patent documents. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues globally and work on special projects to improve processes and data management.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IP Management systems is required, as well as experience with USPTO Patent Center and PCT applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are also essential for success in this role.

- Review and upload daily correspondence from various sources
- Manage file histories and ensure accuracy of documents obtained from USPTO Patent Center
- Conduct docket meetings with agents and attorneys
- Prepare, revise, and finalize patent applications and other prosecution documents
- Monitor and prepare Information Disclosure Statements
- Arrange for signatures on declarations and assignments
- File documents with the Patent and Trademark Office
- Review, monitor, and clear out items from docket reports
- Correspond with inventors, outside counsel, and foreign associates
- Assist with special projects and collaborate with colleagues globally

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2+ years of experience in patent prosecution preferred
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IP Management systems required
- Experience with USPTO Patent Center and PCT applications preferred
- Familiarity with US, PCT, and foreign country law related to prosecution and deadlines preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills required
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
