A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney for an associate position in South Nyack, New York. This role is ideal for a dedicated attorney with 3 to 4 years of experience who is eager to engage in diverse litigation matters.
Duties:
- Handle cases related to General Litigation, Land Use Litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation in both State and Federal Courts.
- Conduct substantive motion practice, demonstrating a strong understanding of the rules of evidence.
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, discovery responses, and memoranda of law for motions.
- Perform thorough legal research to support case strategies and litigation efforts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of litigation experience.
- Active licensure to practice law in New York; licensure in additional jurisdictions is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with litigation procedures and substantive motion practice.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
