Law firm in San Francisco is currently seeking a lateral associate for the role of Corporate - Restructuring & Special Situations Finance. This position is ideal for candidates who have significant experience representing creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and/or special situations financings. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with our Global Finance team and our premier Business Restructuring & Reorganization team, taking on high profile and top of the capital structure representations for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and other financial institutions.

The annual compensation range for this position is between $365,000 and $435,000, depending on qualifications and other operational considerations. Responsibilities:
- Represent creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and/or special situations financings
- Work with the Global Finance team and the premier Business Restructuring & Reorganization team
- Take on high profile and top of the capital structure representations for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and other financial institutions

Qualifications:
- Law school class years 2016-2019
- Significant experience in representing creditors or borrowers in finance-related transactions
- Strong understanding of liability management, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
