Defense Litigation Associate Attorney - Garden City, NY

Overview:
Wilson Elser, a leading defense litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Garden City office. Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of litigation matters from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Handle court appearances and depositions on a regular basis
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New York
- 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience with complex general/professional liability, civil litigation, insurance defense, or transportation a plus
- Superior communication, writing, and research skills
- Legal project management experience is helpful

Salary:
The annualized salary range for this position is $115,000 to $160,000+. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
