Litigation Paralegal The candidate will conduct research to support legal proceedings. Will assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Schedule depositions/deposition summariesMedical summaries. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Keep accurate time (billing) records. Assist in secretarial needs as dictated by workloads and client demand. Perform other duties as required or determined by a supervisor as needed.
Qualification and Experience The candidate should have previous experience as a paralegal (Workers Comp and Casualty experience a plus). Must have familiarity with legal research (Lexis). Should have the ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
