- Position available for an Associate Attorney in the Global Employment & Labor Law practice at Baker McKenzie

Job Title: Global Employment and Labor Law Associate
Department: Global Employment & Labor Law Practice Group
Location: United States (specifically New York or California)

Job Description:

- Provide advice and counsel to multinational clients on US and cross-border employment issues, including transactions
- Translate international landscape for in-house counsel and managers with global responsibilities
- Lead cross-border and multi-disciplinary employment projects
- Assist multinational companies with their international and domestic labor and employment issues
- Defend clients in litigation in both state and federal court
- Work closely with culturally diverse team members in a global team environment
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Keep up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of employment counseling and/or general employment litigation experience
- Background in international employment law preferred
- Strong academic credentials from a top law school
- Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Top tier law firm experience in an employment practice preferred

Salary Information:

- Annual salary range of $225,000 - $260,000 for candidates in New York or California offices
