Job Duties:

• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
• Assist with case management and trial preparation
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court proceedings as necessary
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
• 0-3 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Certifications:

• California State Bar license

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software (., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
• Familiarity with civil procedure and litigation process
• Trial preparation and/or trial experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
