Columbia office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a transactional/mergers and acquisitions attorney with 5+ years of experience in business/commercial transactions, including complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The candidate should preferably have law firm or other private sector experience. Must have experience structuring and negotiating a variety of transaction types, with an understanding of the tax implications of each type. Experience in private equity, private securities offerings (including for employees and investors), and venture capital experience is a plus. A portable practice is an asset. Must be a member of the Maryland Bar. Virginia, DC, and other Mid-Atlantic state Bar admissions are a plus.
