Morgan Lewis, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a midlevel associate with 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution for their Intellectual Property practice in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an advanced degree, preferably a ., in a life sciences technology area to join a dynamic team and work on cutting-edge projects with emerging companies. The ideal candidate will have a background in molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, or cell biology and must be a member of the Patent Bar (USPTO Registration Number).

Responsibilities:
- Conduct patent prosecution and provide counseling for emerging companies focused on antibodies, DNA or RNA therapeutics, chemical biology, gene-editing, etc.
- Work on projects related to patent drafting, patent office actions, and patent portfolio management
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide strategic advice and support on intellectual property matters
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in patent laws and regulations

Requirements:
- Advanced degree, preferably a ., in a life sciences technology area such as molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, or cell biology
- 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution
- Must be a member of the Patent Bar (USPTO Registration Number)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
