Law firm Semmes, Bowen & Semmes is currently seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney for a full-time remote position. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected and established law firm with a strong reputation in the State of Maryland. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in workers' compensation and employers' liability, and must be barred in MD. Candidates admitted to other jurisdictions are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on workers' compensation cases.
Handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with clients and other attorneys.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain a strong understanding of MD workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in MD.
Admitted to practice law in DC is a plus!
2+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense law.
Strong understanding of MD workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Experience with employer liability claims a plus.
