The successful candidate will join our growing Tax Credit & Impact Finance group.

## Job Description

Our Tax Credit & Impact Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

- Assisting in the structuring, structuring and closing of community development transactions utilizing new markets tax credits (NMTCs), historic rehabilitation tax credits (HTCs), and/or renewable energy investment tax credits (RETCs).
- Reviewing and analyzing documents related to transactions.
- Drafting legal documents.
- Researching legal issues.
- Preparing and reviewing closing documents.
- Meeting with clients and attending closings.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Zero to five years of transactional experience.
- A strong interest in community development transactions utilizing new markets tax credits (NMTCs), historic rehabilitation tax credits (HTCs), and/or renewable energy investment tax credits (RETCs).
- Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs is helpful but not required.
- Candidates with commercial real estate experience, commercial lending experience, structured finance and/or general federal income tax experience would also be well-suited for this position.
- Active license is required.
- Superior academic performance and excellent writing and analytical skills are required.
