Johnson Pope Law Firm is actively seeking a talented fourth to seventh-year associate with an impressive background in healthcare law, corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate for this position must have a strong and demonstratable background in one or more of the following areas:

* Healthcare M&A, including private equity transactions with health systems
* Business entity legal matters
* Health law compliance matters, including federal and Florida fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, self-referral, and fee-splitting laws
* Professional regulation and discipline, AHCA, and state licensure laws
* Federal and state patient confidentiality laws, and cyber security issues
* Physician, medical practice, and midlevel professional representation (including start-ups and alternative practice models)
* Behavioral health
* DME
* Pharmacy
* Laboratory
* Managed care contracting (FFS, capitation, and value-based)
* Document drafting, review, and negotiation

The candidate must be admitted to practice in Florida and willing to relocate in the Tampa Bay area.
