### Responsibilities

- Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery
- Prepare documents for filing and make courthouse runs
- Oversee filing deadlines
- Prepare documents, exhibits, and presentations for trial
- Meet with new and existing clients to obtain information
- Schedule appointments for the attorneys
- Help make sure attorneys stay on task and are meeting deadlines
- Keep case document management and forms up-to-date and organized
- Assist with keeping the office organized
- Assist as a back up to answer incoming calls
- Assist with maintaining client and non-client contact database
- Provide support for other co-workers as needed
- Other administrative tasks as needed

### Qualifications

- Previous experience as a paralegal in Civil Litigation and/or Business Law
- Technical proficiency in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, as well as PDF Software (Adobe Acrobat) and document management software
- Experience using Sage Timeslips or similar time and billing software desired
- Familiarity with legal research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizations and administrative skills
- Attention to detail, accurate typing and proofreading skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Professional, friendly, organized and a good team player
- Stays calm under pressure
