The Associate Consultant, Legal Solutions is responsible for providing support and guidance to internal business partners on legal issues, as well as conducting research and preparing documents for attorneys. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years of experience as a legal professional or in a related industry. The salary range for this position is $55, - $91, and employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, technological aptitude, organization skills, and be a self-starter and critical thinker. This is a full-time, remote position with the option for hybrid work in CT - Hartford and MN - St. Paul. Key Responsibilities:

- Support internal business groups regarding compliance with Travelers' internal policies, insurance and corporate regulatory issues, contract review, and internal and external communications.
- Utilize Travelers' internal BI systems to provide support and guidance to internal business partners.
- Collect required documentation for regulatory inquiries, investigations, data calls, government relations, and litigation.
- Conduct legal research using legal databases (., WestLaw).
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, and presentations for attorneys.
- Manage priorities effectively and prepare presentations for business partners and senior leaders.
- Take initiative, work independently, and handle cases with care and confidentiality.
- Spot legal issues through reviewing documents, projects, and business meetings.
- Collaborate with various business segments such as other Legal Units, Underwriting, Risk Control, Service Centers, and Distribution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree.
- Paralegal Certificate.
- Two years working as a legal professional or related industry experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technological aptitude with the ability to work within and navigate multiple systems.
- Strong organization skills.
- Self-starter and critical thinker.
- Team player.
