The **Members Only**, also known as DCF, is currently offering unpaid internship opportunities for the summer semester. This program is open to current college students who are interested in gaining field experience in their chosen field of study. Student interns will have the chance to work in various Local and Area Offices, as well as in the CP&P and DCF Central Offices. This is a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience and enhance your resume.

H2: Education Requirements and Disqualification Factors

- Must be a current college student
- Fingerprints, Outside Activity Questionnaire, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) background check, and driving record with five points or more within the past five years may disqualify you
- Any driving under the influence conviction within the past five years or any combination of three motor vehicle violations/license suspensions within the last five years (excluding parking violations) may also disqualify you

H2: Legal Affairs Office Internship

- Responsible for various tasks within several units
- Excellent writing skills and professional communication required
- Conduct legal research and summarize Appellate and Supreme Court Decisions
- Work closely with Administrative Hearings Unit to process written statewide requests for administrative appeals
- Assist with writing Final Agency Decisions
- Work with immigration unit to assist with immigration issues facing the populations served by DCF
- Provide education and network with other agencies and stakeholders
