Job Title: Corporate Counsel II - Regulatory Legal Team

Salary: $115, - $193, (based on location and experience)

Experience: At least 5 years experience in laws and regulations applicable to US banking institutions and service providers, previous in-house experience and familiarity with US banking regulators a plus

Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school and license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction

Travel: 10-15%

About the Role:
- Member of the Regulatory Legal Team providing legal advice on US Banking and Capital Markets activities
- Responsible for protecting the enterprise and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Part of a legal team of 200 attorneys and paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to colleagues across the organization on corporate and regulatory compliance matters
- Serve as primary attorney for compliance team on US banking and Capital Markets matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional areas to render opinions and advice on federal and state laws, rules, regulations, contract provisions, policies and procedures
- Review and draft client communications, marketing materials, and disclosures
- Coordinate legal matters with outside counsel

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree and license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- At least 5 years experience in laws and regulations applicable to US banking institutions and service providers
- Proven ability to review and evaluate complex legal issues and provide counsel
- Familiarity with US banking regulators a plus
- Previous in-house experience and fintech, banking, or capital markets law firm experience a plus
