Job Overview: Curtis is currently seeking a bilingual associate to join our international arbitration practice group in our New York City office. The associate will have the unique opportunity to work with a highly skilled and experienced team of lawyers on complex investor-state disputes before tribunals arising under investment treaties, host countries investment law & contracts relating to investment activities in energy, mining, construction, telecommunications, and other industries. Job Responsibilities: The bilingual associate will be responsible for supporting our representation of clients in international arbitration cases. This includes: - Conducting legal research and analysis on complex international arbitration issues - Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and memoranda - Communicating with clients, adversaries, and tribunal members in English and Arabic - Participating in hearings and meetings with clients and tribunal members - Assisting with case strategy and preparation Job Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements: - - Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong writing, analytical, and oral skills - A strong interest in international law and arbitration Salary Information: The salary for this position is $180,000 annually, which is competitive with other top law firms in the New York City area. **Please note that we do not accept submissions from recruiters.
