The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, preferably a ., in a life sciences technology area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patent prosecution and drafting patent applications for biotechnology inventions
- Collaborating with clients and inventors to gather necessary information for patent applications
- Conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analysis
- Managing and maintaining patent portfolios for clients
- Providing legal advice and counsel on intellectual property matters
- Assisting with due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving intellectual property assets
- Staying up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments in the life sciences field

Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution in a biotechnology practice
- Advanced degree, preferably a ., in a life sciences technology area
- Patent bar membership (USPTO Registration Number)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary Information:
- Salary range: $225,000 to $435,000 per year
- Final salary offered may be outside of this range based on individual circumstances
- Salary may be only part of the total compensation package, which may include benefits such as medical, financial, and paid time off
- Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided upon offer of employment
