Experienced Family Law Attorney at Fast-Growing Regional Law Firm in NC and SC

Responsibilities:

- Analyze legal situations and develop strategic action plans to effectively solve clients' problems
- Prepare legal documents and represent clients in court proceedings
- Work closely with the Managing Attorney to efficiently progress cases through the civil litigation process
- Consult with potential clients and manage cases diligently to ensure timely advancement in all legal matters
- Advocate on behalf of clients and maintain well-organized and updated client files
- Attend court hearings to ensure effective representation for clients

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of family law experience and an NC Law License
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
- 4-year degree with a legal background and a . degree required
- Experience with billing and keeping track of billable time on cases
- Team-oriented, flexible, organized, and willing to work across office locations
- Self-starter with the ability to creatively problem-solve and come up with workable solutions
- Willingness to travel locally for mediations, depositions, and court

Compensation:

- Competitive salary of $110,000+ yearly DOE
