Ice Miller, a prestigious law firm, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Associate with a background in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors' rights. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience and a strong knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, local rules, UCC, and secured transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy bankruptcy practice with a mix of litigation and transactional work. Job Title: Litigation Associate (Bankruptcy) Experience: 3-6 years Salary Range: $215,000-$375,000 (New York) Responsibilities: Litigate bankruptcy, restructuring, and/or creditors’ rights and insolvency-related matters in state and federal courts Take depositions and argue motions and contested matters in the courtroom Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility Collaborate across practice groups and across offices Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an Am Law 200 firm Have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment Engage in business development activities with the potential to grow into partnership Work remotely two days per week Requirements: Significant experience in motions practice, contested matters, and/or adversary proceedings Quick thinking and ability to respond well under pressure in court Experience with depositions, either taking them or assisting in their preparation Strong research and writing skills Team player with an interest in developing relationship-building skills Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds Highly motivated and self-driven Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent law school credentials and references Benefits: Competitive salaries Quality benefits programs, including an annual stipend for personal interests and hobbies Workplace flexibility One-on-one career coaching and professional development opportunities Inclusive and collaborative work environment To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter.
