# Associate (4 – 7 years) - Capital Solutions & Private Credit (Special Situations) Law Firm - Boston

## Job Summary
The Law Firm's Capital Solutions & Private Credit group is seeking an associate with 4 – 7 years of experience in corporate finance transactions focused on special situations matters. Candidates with experience in special situations and distressed corporate transactions will be preferred.

## Duties/Responsibilities
Associates in this position will work with the Firm’s partners and associates across all offices to represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as credit funds and creditor groups on a variety of financing transactions. Associates should expect to collaborate with attorneys in other practices, including restructuring, private equity, and asset management, to negotiate and draft loan documentation, analyze capital structures, and manage and drive deals.

## Required Skills/Abilities
The ideal candidate should have:

- 4-7 years of experience focused primarily on finance transactions involving secured and unsecured credit facilities, special situation lending, and debt restructuring;
- Currently working as an associate at a law firm advising investment funds, investment banks and companies;
- A ;
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts or eligible to obtain admission in the state promptly;
- A high degree of attention to detail;
- A sincere interest in this area of special situations finance; and
- A high degree of interpersonal skills to connect with our clients and thrive in a truly collaborative environment.
