Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Law and Litigation Attorney who will be responsible for independently managing all aspects of case handling, from complex issue analysis to trial proceedings. The ideal candidate must possess superior analytical skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Duties:

  • Analyzing complex legal issues related to construction law and litigation.
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs for cases.
  • Managing all facets of discovery, including e-discovery issues.
  • Taking and defending depositions in legal proceedings.
  • Handling document-intensive cases with precision.
  • Representing clients in court appearances throughout the litigation process.
  • Managing mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings effectively.
  • Directly interacting with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction law and litigation.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Licensure in New Jersey is a plus.
  • Superior analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Team player with a passion for advocacy.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Current license to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and writing.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
