Ice Miller, a leading law firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Litigation Associate with a background in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors' rights. Job Title: Litigation Associate (Bankruptcy)
Location: Baltimore, Chicago, Columbus, DuPage County, Illinois, Indianapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, .
Experience: 3-6 years

Responsibilities:

Handle a mix of bankruptcy litigation and transactional work
Argue motions and contested matters in state and federal courts
Receive training opportunities and increasing levels of responsibility
Collaborate with different practice groups and offices
Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of a top Am Law 200 firm
Have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment
Engage in business development activities with potential for partnership
Have the option to work remotely two days per week

Qualifications:

Significant experience in motions practice, contested matters, and/or adversary proceedings
Quick thinking and ability to perform well under pressure in court
Experience with depositions, either taking or assisting in preparation
Strong research and writing skills
Ability to excel in a team environment
Interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills
Prior experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
Highly motivated and self-driven
Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong academic background and references
